Mickey Bernardi is a law clerk at Grathwol Keating, where he supports the firm’s estate planning and elder law practice. He is a third-year law student at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he serves as a staff member on the Journal of Law & Public Policy and as a research and teaching assistant. Mickey is currently a candidate for admission to the Minnesota bar and looks forward to joining the firm as an attorney upon licensure.

Mickey’s academic and professional interests focus on the intersection of estate planning, digital assets, and emerging technology. He is passionate about helping clients navigate complex planning decisions with clarity and care.

A Twin Cities native, Mickey enjoys spending time outdoors and has a deep love of reading and research that carries naturally from his academic work into everyday life. At home, he is kept great company by his dog Reggie and cat Bear. Reggie is a regular at Minnehaha and Lake of the Isles dog parks, two of his favorite spots in the city.
